Monaghan County Council teamed up with Stop Food Waste to raise food waste awareness at the Taste of Monaghan Festival 2013 recently.
This was the fifth Taste of Monaghan Festival, (celebrating quality local food, dining and produce) and it took place from 4th to 6th October 2013.
Nial from Monaghan County Council facilitated a Stop Food Waste Schools Cookery Competition and a Stop Food Waste Cookery Demo by some local chefs – both of which went down a treat.
