In the summer of 2018, Monaghan County Council aims to set up a Pop Up ECO shop in a town in the county.
The shop would showcase activities like Junk Kouture, Men’s Sheds Reuse activities, Home Composting Demonstrations, water conservation and a Stop Food Waste programme during the summer months.
The aim is to work closely with a local Tidy Towns Committee and to support the development of innovative and successful Sustainable Resource and Waste Management applications from the county.
The shop will also be used to showcase other work by Tidy Towns such as biodiversity and litter control.
Further information will be made available later in the year.
