Monaghan County Council & Co. Monaghan Tidy Towns Network are hosting an invaluable Conference on Sustainable Waste & Resource Management for tidy towns committees, volunteers and local community groups.
This conference will give delegates a better understanding of the Tidy Towns Sustainable Waste Resource Management (SWRM) Category and how to achieve better results from their projects.
The detailed agenda includes:
- Focused panel discussions involving many of the leading experts in this field in Ireland on: What should a sustainable waste resource management programme for Tidy Towns look like; and How Tidy Towns can work with National Programmes and Local Authorities to deliver on the ground resource efficiency plans.
- Tidy Towns Sustainable Waste and Resource Efficiency Case Studies from all over Ireland, presented by those involved.
- Workshops on delivering resource efficiency and waste prevention – on furniture reuse, a repair directory, food waste prevention, green events and how to carry out a resource efficiency audit.
The conference will be moderated by Ella McSweeney – Well-Known Food Journalist & Broadcaster
