Galway County Council have worked with Glenamaddy Tidy Towns to organise 2 waste prevention events for the local community.
A Food Waste Prevention and Home Composting event was held on the 29 April 2014. Over 50 people attended the event which covered areas such as food waste prevention; home composting and general good environmental practices.
A Food Waste Prevention and Home Composting Supermarket Campaign was organised in Supervalu Glenamaddy on the 2 May 2014. Over 300 people attended the event which covered areas such as food waste prevention; home composting and general good environmental practices.
