Video tutorial on a more sustainable wardrobe

Roscommon County Council has developed a video tutorial in conjunction with local style adviser Maria Carton on how to have a more environmentally sustainable wardrobe, covering the environmental issues related to the textile industry and how we can take steps to promote a more circular economy without sacrificing style.

As well as the video, a series of local workshops were also held, which gave advice over a 2-hour workshop on buying quality over quantity, stylist tips, and advice on the type of clothes that suit body shape so that people buy more prudently. The workshops also informed on the environmental impacts of textiles.
