Installation of Drinking Water Bottle Refilling Stations

Sligo County Council has received LAPN funding to install drinking water bottle refilling stations in Sligo town, Enniscrone, Strandhill and Rosses Point. By installing these in conspicuous locations it is hoped that they can be used by large numbers of people and help reduce single-use plastic bottles. Sligo Tidy Towns, Sligo PPN, and Irish Water are all involved with this initiative.
