clareClare County Council has carried out several projects as part of LAPN.

Clare County Council has engaged with many businesses in the county, including the SkyCourt Shannon retail Centre, (more information here); The Burren Ecotourism Network; Gort Road Shopping Centre, Ennis (more information here); and Carrigoran House, Newmarket on Fergus (more information here).

Clare County Council helped to green the Cliffs of Moher visitor centre, by segregation of waste, use of compostable packaging, training and awareness raising. More information here.

Arty corks framedIn 2012, Clare County Council developed a Green Christmas Campaign, to raise environmental awareness, with several elements including upcycling mateials, food waste prevention, training etc. More information here.

Clare County Council has formerly worked closely with the Limerick Clare Kerry Regional Waste Management Office. In 2013 this was superceded by the Southern Region Waste Management Office.
