Help identify and implement water saving measures for taps, showers and toilets in any local community buildings.

These can include the local parochial hall, GAA club changing rooms, community centre etc.

Small changes in equipment can make a large difference over time and save money in the long run. Some of these can be implemented in the home too.

Your local Environment Awareness Officer Contact should be able to help with good tips and ideas.

There are many simple things we can can all do, such as using filled 330 ml plastic bottles in the toilet cistern (to reduce the amount of water wasted per flush) and fitting low-flow aerators or sensors on taps (to reduce water flow rates).
