Meath County Council has implemented a project preventing food waste, based around the rolling out of brown bins in the region. The project comprised several elements including:

  • Information Days at Supermarkets & distribution of Cotton Bags and OBEO Bags
  • New Display Stands 2 Blizzard Outdoor Stands & 2 Nomadic Swift Stands
  • Taste Of Meath Event – Stand at Event & Nutritionist Speaker
  • Distribution of promotional material including leaflets, personalised key rings, magnets/ shopping lists, food measures, and kitchen caddies
