A Waste Prevention and Home Composting Workshop was held by Galway County Council in conjunction with Letterfrack Tidy Towns as part of Galway County Council’s Waste Prevention Programme.
The aim of the workshop was to assist participants gain additional knowledge on waste prevention thus allowing them to implement improved environmental practices and becoming more resource efficient in the home.
The workshop was held in Letterfrack on 26 April 2013.
A presentation was delivered by Sinéad Ní Mhainnín, Environmental Awareness Officer, Galway County Council on:

followed by a Q&A Session.
Over 250 people attended the event which was greatly appreciated by all the participants.
