It has also presented at many different events, showcasing LAPN and the value of resource efficiency work being carried out at the local authority level (see presentations here).

RWMO has initiatiated and promoted many different green events and locations such as Charlie Chaplin Festival, Cliffs of Moher, Dingle Food Fair, Elemental Arts and Culture Festival, Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan, Great Limerick Run, Killarney National Park, Knights of Westfest Newcastle West, Limerick Show, Pairc na Gael, Riverfest Limerick, Rose of Tralee, and Thomond Park. RWMO has produced and distributed many different support materials on a wide range of topics and for several sectors to promote waste prevention in their many initiatives. These include leaflets, brochures and guides on waste prevention in business, food (including prevention-focused recipes), hazardous waste in the home and at work, clothing, shopping, attending or hosting an event, how to have a ‘green’ Christmas, using compost on pitches, etc. To see some examples, click here.
