Limerick citylLimerick City Council has carried out several projects as part of LAPN.

In December 2012, Limerick City Council distributed a Green Christmas Factsheet to promote waste prevention at Christmas. More information here.

Limerick City Council carried out work with a housing estate in the city to raise awareness about household hazardous waste. Click here to see a video of the project.

Events and venues in Limerick City are being greened by Limerick City Council such as The Great Limerick Run, Riverfest Limerick, the Elemental Arts and Culture Festival, Pairc na Gael and Thomond Park. More information here.

limerick green city graphicLimerick City Council has worked with several businesses in the city for example in the construction of an apartment complex (more information here), on a project with four large businesses in the city (more information here) and with the local authority’s Mill Road Horticultural Depot (more information here).

Limerick City  Council has formerly worked closely with the Limerick Clare Kerry Regional Waste Management Office. In 2013 this was superceded by the Southern Region Waste Management Office.
