Kerry County Council

kerryKerry County Council has carried out many waste prevention projects as part of its participation in LAPN.

Kerry County Council worked with businesses in the county such as Kerry Airport (more information here), companies in Corca Dhuibhne (more information here) and in Listowel (more information here).

A number of events and locations have been greened in County Kerry, including the Charlie Chaplin Film Festival in Waterville, Killarney National Park, Rose of Tralee and the Dingle Food Fair. Click here for more information.

Kerry County Council has been promoting food waste prevention widely, for example in Killorglin with a project that was filmed for RTE (more information here).

Kerry corca dhuibhne stickerKerry County Council also works with homes/communities on waste prevention. One study carried out with households in Tarbert yielded some very interesting results (more information here).
