Overview

LAPN is an initiative of the Environmental Protection Agency led National Waste Prevention Programme, working with Irish local authorities to deliver resource efficiency and waste prevention initiatives at a local and grassroots level.

Using monies from the Environment Fund, 12 local authorities from across the country are receiving financial support from the EPA, technical support from the Environmental Protection Agency and Clean Technology Centre and are active on prevention based projects – where RETHINK is replacing Reduce, Reuse and Recycle as the best option. Grant aid and technical assistance for resource efficiency may be available to your local authority too.

To Apply for Grant Aid contact Odile le Bolloch, EPA, at o.lebolloch@epa.ie

To Apply for free Technical Assistance, or with a project idea, contact Eileen O’Leary, CTC, at eileen.oleary@ctc-cork.ie
